Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and spices.
  3. In an electric mixer bowl, combine room temperature butter and pumpkin puree until mixed; add sugar and blend well. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
  5. For the crumb topping, mix cold cubed butter with brown sugar, flour, and spices until crumbly.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared dish; sprinkle half of the crumb topping over it. Repeat layers and bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
