  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 70-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. While cooling on a wire rack, prepare the maple glaze by whisking powdered sugar with maple syrup until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread.
