- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 15oz can pure pumpkin puree
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Gradually fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 70-80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- While cooling on a wire rack, prepare the maple glaze by whisking powdered sugar with maple syrup until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bread.
