  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1½ cups chopped pecans
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. For the crust, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Press into the bottom of a 9×13-inch dish and chill for 10–15 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread evenly over the crust.
  3. In a saucepan, heat brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter until bubbling. Remove from heat and whisk in beaten eggs carefully. Stir in pecans and salt.
  4. Pour pecan filling over the cream cheese layer evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Slice into bars with a warm knife before serving.
