Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup jelly or jam (grape, strawberry, or your favorite flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter, sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Dollop jelly over it and gently swirl with a knife.
  6. Add the remaining batter on top, dolloping more jelly again and swirling lightly.
  7. Bake for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
