  • 1 baguette (sliced into 1/2 inch thick rounds)
  • 250 g Baby Bella Mushrooms (thinly sliced)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup Marsala apple vinegar
  • 1 package Brie Cheese (sliced)
  • Olive oil for brushing
  • Fresh parsley (finely chopped for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Toast for about 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then add sliced mushrooms. Cook until golden and moisture is released, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour in Marsala apple vinegar and simmer until reduced by half, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
  4. On each toasted baguette slice, place a generous slice of brie and spoon the mushroom mixture on top. Bake for another 3-5 minutes until the brie melts.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
