  • 1/4 cup unsalted sweet cream butter (softened) for filling
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter for filling
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar for filling
  • 2 tablespoons whole milk for filling
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract for filling

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat softened butter and brown sugar until creamy. Mix in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  2. Roll small balls of dough in sugar and place them on a lined baking sheet. Flatten each ball with a fork.
  3. Preheat the oven and bake cookies for about 10 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  4. While cooling, prepare the filling by beating together softened butter, peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until fluffy.
