- 1 large egg
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 12 oz linguine
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. In a bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix gently and form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Sear the meatballs in olive oil until browned on all sides (about 6–8 minutes). Set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter and remaining garlic; cook until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and return meatballs to the pan.
- Cook linguine according to package instructions. In another pan, melt butter, whisk in cream and Parmesan until smooth.
