  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 12 oz linguine
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. In a bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley. Mix gently and form into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Sear the meatballs in olive oil until browned on all sides (about 6–8 minutes). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter and remaining garlic; cook until fragrant. Stir in lemon juice and return meatballs to the pan.
  4. Cook linguine according to package instructions. In another pan, melt butter, whisk in cream and Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Toss cooked linguine with the creamy sauce and serve topped with meatballs and any remaining garlic butter.
