  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar + 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your Bundt pan well.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients and sour cream to the butter mixture, alternating until combined.
  4. Spoon half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over it. Add remaining batter followed by the rest of the cinnamon-sugar. Swirl gently with a knife.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
