Ingredients

  • 12 oz milk or dark chocolate
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 cup soft baking caramels (melted)
  • 1 medium green apple (chopped or thinly sliced)
  • 1 cup chopped gluten-free pretzels or nuts (pecans, walnuts, or almonds)
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate for drizzle

Instructions

  1. Soak chopped apple pieces in water mixed with lemon juice for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Melt the chocolate with coconut oil using a double boiler or microwave.
  3. Spread the melted chocolate onto parchment-lined sheet pan into a 1/4 inch thick layer.
  4. Sprinkle crushed pretzels over the chocolate, followed by diced apples and drizzled caramel and melted chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until hardened.
  6. Break into pieces or cut into squares after setting.
  7. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
