  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 tbsp instant dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (for filling)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine lukewarm milk, softened butter, eggs, sugar, salt, and yeast. Gradually mix in bread flour until a soft dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough until smooth and elastic; cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
  3. For the filling, mix light brown sugar with ground cinnamon.
  4. Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.
  5. Roll tightly into a log, cut into pieces, twist each piece, and place them in a baking dish.
  6. Allow to rest for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 350°F (175°C). Brush with beaten egg before baking for about 20 minutes until golden.
